I guess a post about this show wouldn’t be complete without me bitching about Harry’s inability to orb so there you go. Anyhoo as of right now, it is very unlikely that I’ll watch next season. The odds are pretty much my odds of winning the lottery but I am curious and had planned on finishing the season before making up my mind once and for all before everything went all Dystopian.
It isn’t good when you totally blank on names. I kinda forgot about Jordan and I forgot all about Jesse er I mean Julian. So many J names. Hell, that could be the guy version of Charmed. Oh wait there was an evil guy version but I’m spacing on the names. Not sure if they all shared the same first letter in their name but Michael Weatherly was one of them and he became a priest so he wouldn’t be evil. You never know with me since that could end up as weird fan fiction. Strange things happen. But good on me for figuring out their names and it looks like Jesse er Julian helped Macey figure out what to do about the Harry sitch. Dude did I not mention putting them back together? Come on girl you’re supposed to be the smart one.
It looks like Darken Rahl’s wife has gone all Initiative along with Fellowship Of The Order since it looks like she wants to wipe out magic. My dumb ass decided to reread/catch up/finish the Sword Of Truth series and here I am over a year and a half later and only on book 12. I should have gone with Wheel Of Time since I’d be finished with that one since it’s a much shorter series. I wonder if she knows if Parker is alive. Who knows but she’s not as scary as Jagang since that dude is straight-up evil. Things went really bad when the doctors were screwing around with stuff they shouldn’t be screwing around with which led to the smelly Smoky Lightning to evaporate everyone that was operating on him or I guess ripping away the magic or combining it or whatever. Seriously? You can’t even use masks properly. That’s just sad. Sure the first time I used one which was at a doctor’s office in the waiting room I put it on upside down but it was on. Now I’m a pro sorta.
Maggie decides to go to Abby’s because Macey’s powers are still on the fritz. I admit that I got kinda excited when I thought the girls were getting attacked by a demon when the telekinesis went wrong while attempting that spell. She has Jordan help her, after all, he has that curse to break but Abby is no dummy. Bitch it took you long enough to get your ass down to the dungeon. Of course, you keep your prisoners down there. Silly me would have books down there may be some historical romances since I get the feeling I’m going to fall down into that rabbit hole. Maggie gets some help from Parker. Go me for remembering his name. I got to celebrate a victory no matter how small and lame it may be. Who knows I could decide to continue to watch just to mock it.
Abby thinks Maggie is trying to use the demon sucking knife to save Parker. She’s just pissy because Jordan is so not interested lady. Come on like you’re not doing Tori. I bet you are. Anyhoo where am I? Uh oh, Abby you’re the one that spilled the beans to Jordan. Why would Maggie tell him? Did she have so much sex that her brain fell out? Abby lets Maggie do the provenance spell. Ooh, a word I learned by watching Supernatural. I’m excited about that coming back but I want all of them to be safe of course after all two of them have shows lined up and Misha’s a precious cinnamon roll that must be protected at all costs. So now the sisters realize that they are the problem. I think a big problem is the lack of chemistry between the three actresses but that’s just my opinion.
When they leave Parker who is still stuck in his cage he tells Jordan to take care of Maggie and there goes the cringe moment of the episode. Jordan gets pissy and says Maggie can take care of herself. What’s wrong with you taking care of her dude? That doesn’t mean she’s not capable and what would be wrong with her taking care of you? Is that not allowed? Wouldn’t her going to Abby be her taking care of you since it was possible that Abby could help although I’m not sure if she actually did because they made it vague and mysterious about him saving some witches?
Mel and Harry break into the Initiative and rescue Jimmy who has been put back in the bottle. At least he isn’t being a host for Smelly Smoky Lightning. They had a fight with him and nearly lost the bottle but they didn’t so they got a win. Now thanks to Julian giving Macey an idea and a rejected job offer she’s willing to try to put Harry back together. That’s just made the most sense to me since this bullshit storyline started with ripped apart people getting turned into Whitelighters and Darklighters. Of course Macey isn’t too sure about it because she’s not sure how Harry will be. Is Jimmy really evil? He was being controlled and in his own way he’s kinda helped and we do know he’s got a thing for Macey. Color me dumb and influenced by Buffy but I’m thinking there won’t be a battle between the two to become Harry since it will just make him more Harry. I don’t even know if that makes sense but I think I’m done now.

Every time I forget the one sister’s name. Clearly, that isn’t a good sign. It’s not l like I hate all of the characters. It just seems like they are taking things in a direction that seems more like a show ending. It’s just very strange and it doesn’t help having all those SJW cringe moments although this one didn’t have any. Am I getting immune to them so I didn’t notice anything during this episode?
It turns out that I have six more to go after this episode so that’s going to take about three and a half weeks to get through it. The decision will be official once the finale is watched although as of right now I kinda doubt I’ll change my mind about me not watching season three although it is possible I might. It just seems very unlikely since I don’t particularly like it and don’t really like the sisters in this version. It’s just very blah. I do like Macey and I kinda like Maggie but Mel is pretty forgettable. I don’t even remember this Ruby chick. Why does she have her door open? Is she magical? Does she not know about the insanity that’s going on in that town right now?
Jimmy wants to meet up with Harry. The girls aren’t thrilled about him wanting to go along but he’s no dummy since he goes to Abby for backup and asks her to kill him if just in case he can’t make the magic sucking bottle thing work. Why not put Harry back together? Maybe they could get their hands on Toth’s creepy stick thing. Maybe someone is selling it on eBay. Willow was able to get an urn so why the fuck not? But of course, she wants a night with him. Girl that’s just sad. Wonder if she still thinks she’s not a monster although it was pretty much her only option in the circumstances. I have no idea if they were humans or demons. Color me confused. Where are the fucking demons? The real Charmed had demons coming out of their ears.
Macey is trying to get some black amber to get her magic back but that idea goes south when Maggie sets off an alarm. GIrls, you really should know better than to fuck around with your secret lair since it can turn on you and go all Psychotic Alexa. They start revealing their secrets and finally, Macey comes clean about Lucas er I mean Parker. Just another sign that this show is not clicking with me. It’s one thing to stumble over names when watching the first few episodes but this is halfway into season two. I’m still wondering where Ruby came from but Mel mentions that she’s doing her. That was just weird and so awkward when Ruby’s roommates came into the bedroom to watch TV. Do people actually do that? It’s so odd. Well, color me not shocked that Maggie was relieved that Parker was dead because she didn’t have to deal with it. I assume he’s still rotting in a cell somewhere and Darken Rahl is dead. I should give that a rewatch which is fitting since I’m working my way through the series which gets pretty damn dark.
While the girls are having fun at the lair with Alexa things get strange when Harry and Abby find a town that’s frozen. Hello did Piper stop by? Yes, I admit she’s my favorite. It turns out that a little girl did it because she got scared when some people showed up to try to extract her. When someone is saying extraction that’s your cue to skedaddle unless you’re Sydney Bristow and need help out of whatever crazy sitch you’ve landed in while on the job. Is Abby as evil as she wants us to think or is she trying to score points with Harry? She offers to stay behind while Harry takes what’s her name. Did she get a name? I don’t remember and I just watched the episode. I think the heat has eaten my brain along with this year just being a dumpster fire not to mention me going out at seven this morning to get to the grocery store to avoid as many people as possible. She ends up killing the guys who are trying to shoot her with kryptonite. Why does the Darklighter poison look like something from Smallville?
Harry decides to have a chat with Jimmy. Did I remember him having that name? Nope, I did not. He’s still Harry just like Xander was still Xander when he was split in two at the garbage dump. I think he should just put himself back together although I think doing that will strip him of his powers. It’s not like he can orb like a real Whitelighter and he certainly can’t sense anyone since he gave the little girl who may or may not have a name got his phone number. Leo was a much better Whitelighter. He sensed when his charges were in danger and would answer when they called for the most part. Jimmy is being used as a tool to get power from magical beings. He mentioned a talisman. I’m not sure what that is because apparently when it comes to this show any info that goes in one ear goes out the other lickety-split. I have no idea what I just said.
Macey is thinking she’s in love with Harry which makes sense since she knows him and they are kinda cute together. I pegged them as the knock off Piper and Leo. No offense you two since I do like you both. Why would she like the one she doesn’t know although both of them makeup Harry but thinking about shit like that gives me a migraine and I don’t need a migraine. I recommend avoiding them if possible. A Bluelight is awesome. I might look into glasses while watching TV, after all, I do spend a bit of time watching TinyKittens. How can I resist them? After the girls bare all they go into a chamber that has green leaves and the black amber. I knew amber came in black and green already since I’ve seen it in jewelry.
Before Macey can drink from the chalice some chick from the Charmed line shows up looking like she came from Ancient Greece or possibly Rome. At least Macey didn’t have to fight anyone to drink the chalice full of Mountain Dew. The chick who showed up was a barrel of laughs. She told them they were basically fucked since the sisters always end up the same way when it comes to the Power Of Three. Bitch I guess you’ve never heard of the Halliwells. They got to live their lives and have children and grandchildren. I am still baffled about why they didn’t go that route since they already had the three names of Piper and Leo’s kids. People seem to forget about Melinda but I’ve always thought she was just the youngest instead of the oldest when Piper when to the future to save Phoebe from being burned at the stake. After doing some thinking Macey decided to drink the Mountain Dew and voila her powers are back.

Tomorrow I will be doing the poem inspired by the episode unless I do something else but it will probably be the poem since that’s just the easiest for me since I have a weird definition of poetry.

Well, I’m still annoyed that I can’t watch Supernatural but I was able to watch this. And I’m still riding a Fakequil high that I’ve been on for the week. I’m not sure how coherent I am. I think I went out on Monday and again today but not in between although I can’t be totally sure about that. Color me not shocked that Abigail had a trick up her sleeve. Well, she did seem very pleased with herself. I guess highjacking powers will do that for some girls.
Helen’s dark side escaped and caused some chaos. Poor thing and it, of course, happened back in Plymouth. Personally, I prefer the Warren lines because well it was just better. Yeah, I’m still watching but there’s no way I’m going to get the DVDs or watch an episode because I’m in the mood. It just doesn’t measure up to it. I keep waiting for it to improve and it doesn’t seem to be. Maybe I’ll just toss in the towel at the end of this season since it really isn’t going anywhere. Damn, there’s going to be such a void when Supernatural ends.
At least Mel finally decided to not be obnoxious for a minute. It’s like people don’t sit back and realize that hey things are pretty fucking amazing for us nowadays as opposed to poor Helen who got married to a forty-year-old when she was sixteen and was split in half for magical beings only to end up rotting in a hospital until finally, she was able to make a choice of her own and just end it once and for all. I still think Harry is going to end up being put back together. It’s like they forget about the progress we’ve made side of things. Sure there’s more progress to be made but I know what century I’d rather live in. They now know that the other Harry isn’t dead. He’s been awfully quiet. I wonder when he’ll show up again and hello Macydid you really expect Harry to kiss you when he saw you were upset about not getting your powers back?
Why would Macy be so dumb as to go to Abigail and not think she was getting double-crossed? I don’t blame her for not telling Maggie that Parker isn’t dead. What’s the point? That was an asshole thought for him to want her to know he was alive instead of having her move on with her life. Also wasn’t Jordan with some chick named Lola or did I imagine that? I think he probably wants Maggie to know so that she’ll try to rescue him when I’m totally fine with him being right where he is. Why did this get a greenlight for not just one season but for two and who knows if a three is a go? I’ve given it a fair shot and it’s very underwhelming.

I wonder if I’m the only one that’s confused about the title. I’m often confused so that’s not shocking. Harry gets sick with the demonic flu and asks for Ab’s help. Well, she does know her way around an antidote and since she wants Harry to play with the girls can at least trust her to make sure he doesn’t die and ultimately she did the right thing by injecting him with the antidote instead of waiting for an all-clear. Like he ended up with some human type disease. Wouldn’t he be immune to that because he’s not human anymore? I’m thinking way too much again.
Anyhoo Macy isn’t happy about Abigail getting called. Well, girl, you were too busy with Jesse okay I totally forget his name on here. Oh yes, Julian. I think I blocked that because of someone with that name and on Passions Julian was a total dick so there’s that. It looks like his Auntie Viv doesn’t approve. I prefer Aunti Viv from Days myself. I really need to dip back into soap land. I’ve neglected it so much. Macy ends up making a deal with Auntie Viv to stop seeing Julian for the use of the magic machine that does DNA workups pretty much instantly or whatever. Shit like that goes over my head. I’ll leave it to the smart people and just sit in the corner reading my book.
It was kinda odd that the girls left Abigail alone in the lair. What were they thinking when they did that? I don’t trust her. She’s no Cole. But then this show is pretty lackluster in comparison. I keep hoping it will improve but so far it has been fairly disappointing although I do like Harry. As for Mel she just annoys me and as for Abigail I’m a little confused about why she felt the need to say she got down and dirty with Harry at least I think that’s what she was implying. Uh girl you do realize she’s the lesbian and the wrong sister to try to make jealous if that’s what you were doing. Allos can be confusing to a non-allo.
Jordan and Maggie go undercover to find out about the tattoo society. Well, I guess the lesson is to not eat radioactive looking candy unless you want the lifeforce drained out of you to help raise some dude from the dead. The guy was brought back but maybe not all the way. That chick seems familiar. Was she what’s her name on Smallville? I swear I’ve seen her before. He gets saved and I can see again.I just don’t get the appeal of clubs with loud noise er music and flashing lights. Do people really enjoy that? It sounds like a total nightmare. At least Harry’s okay and Jordan’s alive and kicking and I’m thinking Macy is going to keep on going on with Julian. Get your own life Auntie Viv and stop butting into your nephew’s love life. Take up a hobby like knitting or join a book club or go to a hooker.
